Pixelon is covered in lichens of various shapes and sizes. Some are small and can be passed through, but others grow densely enough to resemble forests. The lichens are actually two separate species which form a symbiotic relationship: a plant-like organism which handles nutrient absorption and distribution, and a group of organisms closely related to boxels which derive energy for the pair from low levels of magnetic flux.
